Heh, I just talked to Jake, who is ala05 's husband...

Me: "Oh My God Jake! You have a little girl!"

Jake: "Yeah...........It's kind of weird, isn't it?"

Man, he sounded fucking exhausted, I can only imagine what Amanda is feeling

OMG my best friend is a MOTHER. To a GIRL. You see, EVERYONE was just sure it was a boy, myself included. I just never dreamed of a little girl. I don't know what to do with girls, really. Huh. We'll just make a tomboy out of her..


Holy crap. I mean, Amanda and I have been best friends for...12 years now, and I've known Jake since he was 15. Now they are married and have a baby? I cannot compute this. Like, the next generation of my friends is here. We're the mommys and aunts now. Not the kids. 

I will be a terrible influence on this child and teach her to be independent and fabulous and how to wear heels and use a flatiron and the importance of an education (which actually her studious mother will take care of no doubt) and I'll teach her to match the correct shades of pink to her skin tone and how to dance and how to change a tire.

Now what I will teach her before the age of 15, not figured out yet. Although, one is never too young to learn about skin tone.

OH HEY GUYS who either know ala05 or just think babies are neat, or that it is funny that I know someone who has a baby.


She'll be home from the hospital sometime tomorrow, and if I know her, she'll get on the internet eventually. 

So I'm putting this post up to say Leave a comment here for her to see.

So you gotta do it cause if there are no comments she'll feel bad and possiby cry....do you want to make the poor, sleep-deprived, recently laboured girl cry??

AH, I got home a little earlier than usual from school (mostly because I just couldn't bring myself to code today) and splurged with some TV watching.

I'm watching this rerun of Oprah with Orlando Bloom. My GOD...I mean, sometimes I just forget how absolutely fucking beautiful he is. Like, with that face, those eyes, and that accent, it's lethal.

It would be really strange to be that hot.

Also, he seems so nice. Aww...

Got to talk to ala05 today. She seems to be doing very well, is at home, and sounded in need of a serious nap. I cannot WAIT to see Ruby. My mom is having to bodily restrain herself from sneaking over to her house and peeking. I'm gonna go home on Friday and will see her then. I just can't wait. I don't like babies, but I know I will love her, because she's Amanda's, and I love Amanda. I am really excited to see her.

Does the fact that I really enjoy the re-runs of The Simple Life 2 make me a bad person??

I CAN"T HELP IT...I think Nicole Ritchie is funny. And also looked better a little fleshy. I think if I were a lesbian I would like little, curvy women. Does that make me narcissistic in some way? Like, Shakira, I think she looks perfect. However, in men, I like thin guys??

Yeah, this is what I'm musing about instead of working on stuff for school. What of it??? HUH?

fahrbot I have a question. Lately, when I dowload stuff from that site, it has been downloading as a zip file and when I try to open it, it says it is password protected??

For example, I downloaded the first ep of Slings and Arrows, but can't open or play it..any ideas?? Does this happen to you?
