Dear Supernatural,

You'd better jump the train back on the fucking track...SOON.

Dear Sam,

I love you but stop being a cockmunch

Lol, I know. I just kept thinking, oh god, he's finally gonna turn this shit back around, or at least put a good reason behind juicing up on demon blood or whatever it is he's doing.

But no, he just wants to retire soon. Just him. XD

Sarah was like, it's a giant allegory, so I kept waiting for Sam to like, get a fucking clue. And then, voila! ...nope.

And GOD Okay here's my thing.

I realize Dean is the far, far superior and more awesome character. BUT I'm a Sam girl. I love Sam and I GET same in the way that I get being stubborn and a little selfish but too tenderhearted at the same time and the way when he gets scared or upset that he can't find a way to deal even a little bit so he turns into a hard, pissy little bitch.

BUT this character motivation just isn't matching up with Sam. Even Sam who went through (excuse the phrase) HELL and back when his beloved brother roasted in hell party bc of his own inability to utilize his mojo. Sam would never let Dean hurt like that. Yeah, sometimes he's a cockmunch and is oblivious but when it comes right down to it, he wouldn't just abandon him and the promises he made him because he's tired of having to hunt.

I mean, Christ. Maybe if he couldn't stomach the idea of Dean dying young again or something but to say, "Boo Hoo I don't want to do this when I'm old" just is a fucking insult to both the Sam and Dean we've known throughout the show.

*sigh*

Now I'm done.

He's abandoned numerous promises to him, though. Without getting into the reasons why, some justifiable to my eyes and some not so much, he didn't make good his promise to look out for Dean like he said he would at the end of s2, he pretty much shat on Dean's dying wish of not using his powers by juicing the fuck up as soon as Dean was dead, I mean. I get where he's coming from, but Sam's word isn't worth all that much. In the end he's driven by what he wants, period, and always has been to varying degrees. It's just a lot more prominent now, b/c when he comes down from it, it isn't his brother he's going back to.
