What a MESS.
Not only can we not take liquids/gels in a carry-on, we can't have them Period.
So no shampoo, conditioner, face wash, face toner, face lotion, sunscreen, perfume, body wash, body lotion, shave gel......
Sweet. Flying is going to be awesome.

Anyways, what happens to those people who constantly are using hand sanitizer (like myself). I absolutely hate touching bathroom doors, toilets, etc. that are in the public. I know there are some people who are obsessive compulsive about keeping their hands clean. What are they to do? What about infants and their formula? Are security guards going to forbid an infant from eating? Technically, women who are nursing shouldn't be allowed on the plane due to the fact that they have liquid. It was one thing to ban nail clippers from being taken aboard, but liquids? What's a person going to due? Pour shampoo in someone's eye? Perhaps I'm overreacting to this, but it's simply stupid in my opinion. Yes, I appreciate they are trying to keep us all safe, but to this extent? /rant.
