Okay, one thing I love about the threat of snow down here, it's the general sense of PANIC. It's so fun. It's like a watching a natural disaster happen with any real disaster or threat of actual danger.

There's a mild threat of like...being cold. But damn ,I love Southerners when it snows.

GOD. Businesses and schools actually closed! I mean...IT'S RAINING. RAIN. Yes it's cold; yes it's wet, but does this entail the APOCALYSE?! People absolutely queef themselves here when the temperature drops below thirty!

how can you be online! you should be cuddled under at least 17 layers of clothes huddled around a candle for extra warmth because your power is going to go out. you should also have a battery powered radio and a flashlight handy.

OMG and checking on the 17 jugs of filtered water and three loaves of bread I bought from Wal-Mart yesterday!

Some woman on the national news tonight was like, having a Southern freakout over the snow, I couldn't understand what she was saying and my Mom and I were just, like, "..."

Is it just me or does the term "wintery mix" mean we have no idea what's coming down but it's gonna be cold?

look here, we ain't like those eskimos who have 1897245 differnt words for snow. we don't see it very often. wintery mix is meant to encompass everything that comes when the weather drops below 40 degrees :)
